Meet Anahita

Bringing scientific rigor and compassionate care together.

Anahita’s path brings together more than a decade of work in public health, clinical research, and health policy with a growing commitment to relational, community-centered healing. Her academic foundation is rooted in biostatistics and health research methodology, and she is currently completing a Doctor of Public Health in Health Policy and Management.

Across clinical research institutions, hospitals, and healthcare organizations, she has contributed to clinical trials, public health studies, and policy initiatives. Behind the data, she has remained attentive to the human stories it represents - mentoring teams, supporting researchers, and translating complex findings into meaningful information for patient care.

Her path to the sanctuary

Healing through relationship.

Anahita’s public-health work has shown her how deeply family systems, culture, economic circumstances, and structural inequities shape wellbeing. Her own experience as an immigrant from Iran has also deepened her empathy for people navigating cultural transitions and the pain of feeling unseen.

During a difficult period connected to events in Iran, she recognized that intellectual understanding alone could not sustain emotional wellbeing. Meditation, yoga, breathwork, reflective writing, and community-based spiritual practice became important sources of grounding and resilience.

That personal exploration gradually opened into service. Anahita facilitates women’s circles and integration gatherings where people can reflect, process experience, and learn in community. Holding these spaces has strengthened her devotion to presence, humility, deep listening, ethical boundaries, and the belief that healing often unfolds with ourselves, with one another, with nature, and with something larger than ourselves.

Through Anahita Embodied Healing Sanctuary, she is creating a nurturing place for conscious aging, life transitions, partnership, plant wisdom, restorative practice, and meaningful belonging. Her long-term vision is to build thoughtful bridges between research, healthcare systems, and community-based approaches to healing.
